Why is the teaching of the Foreign Language - English still limited in public education, despite the fact that several projects have been created that contribute to its improvement, unlike private education?

Taking into account that CEF classified learners of other languages into 6 levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2; how rich full should be students' exposure to achieve the C1 level in the English Teacher Learner Program?
As Colombia is looking forward to be a bilingual country, Should public schools increase the number of hours of English in school as private schools do since second graders?
ICTs are new era materials that help students to increase their exposure to the target language. Should teachers start using computers instead of English books in classrooms?

ReplyDelete-The approaches and methods learned during the different university licenses are really useful for the students in their practices and their working life as teachers?
-The common European framework can really define the true knowledge about a language of a student or person? Are these standards really fair? What defines a person who is bilingual?
-The hourly intensity of English in the educational establishments, both private and public, covers the needs of the students according to the course they are taking?
-ICTs in education in Colombia are being used more frequently in schools, but do students really notice the importance of the role of these tools in their educational life or are they only being used to fulfill a government mandate?
Government has to implement new laws that help police to resolve conflicts, however, in some cases, the process is not appropriate, and people do not respect the police using not appropriate language. Are you agree with this kind of person who disrespect language policies in Colombia?
ReplyDeleteIt is seen, that many people have different ways to learn a second language, however some methods are more useful than other is. What kinds of methods have you used to learn a second language and would you recommend these methods?
We are measure according the Common European Framework, despite we live in South America. Do you think that we have to continue using Common European Framework or we should use one that focus in South America?
According to data, students who had studied in private schools have a good level in all subjects than some who study in public schools. Are you agree with that?
Have you used the ICTs in classroom and it had helped your students to learn in an easily way?
• As we know, in Colombia there are some native languages which is used by indigenes. Why not to teach those languages of high cultural importance at schools?

4. it is notorious that Private schools show a better range of bilingualism, but why is that still happening despite the fact that public schools are expected to have the most accurate tools to work with and the best faculty members-(taking into account that there is a test teachers have to take in order to have the opportunity to work as a public worker, where only the best ones are chosen)?
